Dear magical Quintasensualists,

After long hours of thinking and feeling into this, we have decided to cancel Quintasensual this summer.

Although this is sad, we strongly feel that this is the right decision. Putting on a touch-heavy festival during a pandemic seems unwise to us, given how the UK government is handling the situation and we would not be comfortable with promoting it in the coming months. Plus, as we don't know what the travel restrictions will be by August, we can't guarantee that our quite international community will be able to gather at all. This time calls for pausing and reflecting, not going ahead with "business as usual".

We will keep you posted about the future of our beloved festiva and once the dust has settled and we can start to see what wants to emerge from this crisis l (so please do sign up for emails if you haven't already).  Quintasensual is ever evolving and we are committed to letting it evolve.

Stay safe, beautiful ones.

Facilitating here was an absolute joy.  I felt held both by the other facilitators and by all the attendees.  This is a tribute to the hard work of Buzzy in realising the vision and to all who helped in bringing it to life.  This authenticity and commitment really showed in all aspects of the festival.  From the workers, the cooks, the organisation and the facilitators.  This all provided a framework to enable people to go very deep into themselves.  But overall for me, it was the acceptance.  The complete and total acceptance of gender, gender identity, sexual preference epitomised the essence of Tantra.  Everyone was welcomed, none excluded.  If you are familiar with St. Thomas Aquinas, then he wrote a poem called "the mandate”.  It has become a mantra of mine and especially for the last two lines.  "I looked into His eyes and then knew what to say to any angel who might serve as a sentry to God: No creature should be
turned away.”  After years of teaching and events, finally a festival that epitomises both the essence of Tantra and St. Thomas Aquinas' Vision appeared.  Quintasensual was that festival and it was an honour to be part of it
